8.20.16 Minnesota’s “Golden” Caleb Truax and Wisconsin’s Luis “Cuba” Arias are ready to lead the charge as boxing returns to Milwaukee, Wisconsin tonight. The two top rated Midwest middleweights headline an 8 fight card being promoted by Seconds Out Promotions. Arias will battle Darryl Cunningham for the IBF/USBA middleweight title in the main event of the evening with Truax in the co-feature.

Minnesota’s middleweight champion Caleb Truax will compete in the co-featured bout of the night 14034954_660574710776062_5624804528642400776_nagainst a late replacement by the name of Zachariah Kelley (5-15, 5 KO’s) of Oklahoma. Truax spent a good majority of his camp training to face southpaw Joshua Okine (28-7-1, 17 KO’s) of Ghana. After Okine dropped out and his replacement opponent Milton Nuñez (33-16-1, 29 KO’s) of Columbia decided to leave the country, it was Kelley that stepped in on a few days notice.

We’ve had a couple opponent changes so I’m not too sure about the guy I’m facing “ said Truax.  ” I’m just excited to go out and get some work in and get back on the right track. We have been focusing on the basics in the gym to tighten my game up that I plan on working on Saturday. I’m hoping to get past this fight and stay active in order to work myself in to a position to be back in another big TV fight!

The undefeated Luis Arias (15-0, 7 KO’s) and Detroit Michigan’s Darryl Cunningham (33-8, 13 KO’s) will be fighting for IBF/USBA title in a ten round middleweight bout. Arias fought in his hometown of Milwaukee for the first time as a pro last June where he stopped Jorge “Pantera” Silva in front of a loud and supportive crowd.

My first headlining event at home was a huge success “ said Arias. ” The atmosphere was ridiculous. The crowd was yelling and really into the fight. I’m glad I was able to get the knock out and put on a great performance. Milwaukee showed that they are definitely behind me. Cunningham is a vet who has been in with a lot of good names. I don’t expect him to stand still and trade with me like my last opponent. I’m sure he will try to use his legs a lot more. I have worked on the correct things to make sure I take all his advantages away. I do not plan on going the distance. I will cut the ring off and make him fight. I will make a statement on Saturday night,”
