BOXING: HOBBS FACES MEXICO’S BASTIEN TONIGHT IN CALIFORNIA

Giezwa Hobbs (3-0) of Sir Cerresso Boxing in Saint Paul is set to box tonight in California at Los Angeles’ Globe Theater. His opponent is 22 year old Daniel Bastien (4-10) of Mexico and the two will box in a four round super featherweight bout.

“I know that my opponent has experience” said Hobbs. “Hes a tough guy and anybody who steps in the ring with me, I give them respect. He’s not suppose to last in the ring with me though, so on this fight night just like every fight night, it’s up to me to continue to get better and show my skills.”

The experience of fighting out of state this early in Hobbs’ career will be valuable as the opportunity came to be under the guidance of new manager Stewart Breslow.
