BOXING: MIKE RICHMAN, KOU LEE SEEK WINS TOMORROW NIGHT
Mike “The Marine” Richman of Rosemount, MN makes his Bare Knuckle Boxing debut and Minnesota’s Kou Lee of defends his XFN kickboxing title this Saturday night.
Richman is in London, England where he will face Marcus Gaines for BKB which is boxing with no gloves. Richman has competed in boxing and MMA at as low as 135 pounds but his fight against Gaines has The Marine moving up to 180 pounds. He says the huge jump in weight is no concern because he is confident that his boxing skills will negate the size advantage his opponent will hold. The show begins at 1 pm local time and Richman is one of the first fights. You can watch live at this link, CLICK HERE.
Also, Minnesota’s Kou Lee will defend his XFN (Extreme Fight Night) kickboxing bantamweight title against undefeated challenger Tevin “Two Feet” Laskey at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma. Lee is an experienced veteran who is looking to take out the fast-rising Laskey.
Lee trains at the Association of Martial Arts in Minneapolis and has given boxers Markus Morris and Duarn Vue all they could handle in the past. He also trains striking with coach Chuck Horton of Duluth, MN. Lee made weight earlier tonight while his opponent Laskey missed. The fight will still go on however.
