BOXING: RUBIN, ZARZAR FIGHT IN ND TONIGHT
Nate Rubin of Thief River Falls, MN (5-2-1) and Brooklyn Park’s cruiserweight Mengistu Zarzar each have 
important fights tonight at the 4 Bears Casino in New Town, ND.
Rubin, 30, faces undefeated California prospect Jose Zamora Soto (10-0). Rubin’s team jumped at the fight and it’s clear Soto has not faced a fighter of Rubin’s experience. The Minnesota has faced the tougher opposition and Rubin plans to make his experience advantage count. Rubin weighed-in yesterday at 130.8 while Soto was about the same at 130.4.
“I Don’t know too much about him” said Rubin. He’s undefeated and standing across the corner from me. I’m expecting and ready for a war. My team and I have watched a little bit of footage on him and saw what we needed to see. It’s showtime. May the best man win.”
Mengistu “The Dynamic Warrior” Zarzar accepted a fight only days ago when another fighter was forced off the card. Zarzar steps in for Lorenzo Selectmon as he takes on Eric Murguia (3-0) of California in a Cruiserweight bout. Zarzar officially weighed-in at 176 pounds.
