BOXING: TRUAX FACES DEGALE DECEMBER 9

34 year old “Golden” Caleb Truax (28-3-2, 18 KO’s) of Osseo, Minnesota is set to challenge England’s James “Chunky” DeGale (29-1-1, 14 KO’s) for Degale’s IBF Super Middleweight Title. The fight will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Copper Box Arena in London, United Kingdom. The fight has been rumored for weeks and was officially announced today.

The level at which Truax has competed at during his career has been matched by very few throughout Minnesota’s boxing history. He challenged Daniel Jacobs for the WBA world middleweight title in 2015 and will get his second major title shot against DeGale.

The 31 year old southpaw Degale has an impressive resume, having defeated Andre Dirrell and Lucian Bute among others. It will be Dagale’s fourth defense of the title.
