BOXING: WEIGHTS FROM THE GRAND CASINO HINCKLEY

Minnesota Boxing News: Grand Casino Hinckley, MN Weights

Fighters weighed in on Thursday night at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN. The biggest news of the evening was Minnesota State Super Lightweight champion Markus Morris missing the 140 pound mark. The title is now vacant but Tony Lee can still bring it home with a victory. Minnesota State Middleweight champion Caleb Truax was a few pounds over the contracted weight of 164 pounds but the main event bout is set. Truax and Leatherwood both said afterwards that they are ready to put on a show. Al Sands arrived late but was right on the button at 200 pounds while Mengistu Zarzar was ten pounds lighter. DeLorien Caraway and Gilbert Venegas had a glaring stare down while exchanging words. Tony Palmisano and Ivey Nixon where all business while VeShawn Owens, Brandon Philips Black, Adrian Taylor, and Tristan James all struggled to put on there mean faces!
