SILVER GLOVES CHAMP DEMARCUS MURPHY EVENS OF MNPLS WINS REMATCH WITH WILL CHAPUT OF CANADA AT CIRCLE OF DISCIPLINE SHOW
The Circle of Discipline hosted amateur boxing on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Phillips Community Center in Minneapolis, Mn. The “Fight Night” series began at 3 PM and featured boxers representing the CMB Gym, Lucy Laney Boxing Academy, Northside Boxing, Backyard Boxing, Firehouse Gym, Ludy’s Gym, Sir Boxing, Lyke’s Gym, Padilla’s, Wurk Gym, Rochester Boxing, Golden Lakes Boxing, Team Amos, Wisconsin Rapids, Power Boxing Club of Winnipeg, and Hammond Boxing from Indiana.
Headlining the 17 bout boxing card was the Circle of Discipline’s Demarcus Murphy, 14 taking on Power Boxing of Canada’s William Chaput, 15. Minneapolis’ Murphy won the 2024 National Silver Gloves 145 pound title this past February and avenged a loss against Chaput last year says COD’s Nate Haile.
