COLTON WARNER, DAJUAN CALLOWAY WEIGHED-IN AND READY TO MEET TOMORROW IN OHIO
32 year old Colton Warner (6-1, 4 KO’s) of Pine City, MN will face Dajuan Calloway (8-3, 7 KO’s) of Cleveland, Ohio tomorrow, January 26, 2024 at MGM Northfield Park in Ohio. The fight is a featured super heavyweight bout of World Fighting Championships 164.
Warner, 6’5″ weighed 264 pounds earlier Thursday night while Calloway, 6’3” weighed 400 pounds.
MN Boxing caught up with Warner shortly after weigh-ins ahead of the biggest bout of his career to talk about training camp and his thoughts on tomorrow nights big showdown in Calloways backyard.
“Training camp went great and I’m excited to be back under the lights” said Warner. “It’s been over a year since I last fought but I’ve had a lot of quality work in the gym and I’m a much better fighter today. I can’t wait to show everything I’ve been working on in this fight and to fight away from home for the first time.”
“It’s important to step out of your comfort zone to grow as a fighter and a person in general. I look forward to my toughest test in Dajuan and I know it’s going to be a great night. I wish it was streamed so everyone back home could tune in but luckily I’ll be fighting April 13th at Treasure Island in MN!”
