DULUTH’S JESSE WALTERS RETURNS TONIGHT IN ALABAMA

22 year old Jesse “Primo” Walters (3-0, 2 KO’s) of Duluth, MN returns to the ring after more than a year out of action tonight. Walters will face 50 fight veteran Ray Chacon of California in a four round super bantamweight bout. The show takes place at Coosa Landing in Gadsden, Alabama.

Chacon twice went the distance with Minneapolis’ Gizzy Hobbs in 2018 and has made a career out of giving tough fights to prospects around the nation. The former Upper Midwest Golden Gloves champion Walters says that he is excited to face the experienced southpaw in his first out of state as a professional.

“My next fight is against Raymond Chacon from California” Walters told MinnesotaBoxing.com. “He’s got a bunch of pro fights and he’s a lefty so it will be good experience. This is also my first pro fight out of state so I’m looking forward to representing Duluth and Minnesota on the road. Training has been good. The long lay off between fights has given me a chance to work on the little things with my boxing so I can return to the ring at my best. I’ve been getting good work sparring with the rest of the boxers at Jungle Gym. We’re like a big family. We always find ways to make each other better. This year fans can expect me to keep doing what I do best. Train hard and continue my journey to become my best. I hope to fight three more times this year. My goal is to finish the year 7-0.”

Duluth fans can go to the The Boreal House at 5:00 PM tonight to catch the the live stream action. To watch live from your home visit the following link to order the card for $9.99 CLICK HERE.
