Lightweight Gavino “Huesitos” Guaman (now 6-6–1, 2 KO’s) of CMB Boxing Apple Valley, MN lost a hard fought and entertaining six round decision to Hector Herrera (9-6-1, 5 KO’s) of Nicaragua on Saturday night at the Riverside Ballroom in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

It was a fun battle according to MN boxer Leo Medel with both boxers having their moments in the early rounds. Guaman came out stronger and quicker in the final round while landing the better scoring blows and pressing the action. Guaman also made Herrera miss confidently in the round video replay showed . The sixth round surge wasn’t enough however with Herrera winning over the judges.
