‘HARD KNOCKS” AMATEUR BOXING IN DETROIT LAKES THIS SATURDAY
The Lakes Area Boxing Gym will be holding a fundraising amateur boxing show this Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Detroit Lakes High School in Detroit Lakes, MN. Coach Chris Holt told Minnesotaboxing.com that there will be 17 boxing clubs in action throughout the afternoon.
The Detroit Lakes High School is located at 1301 Roosevelt Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501. The boxing action is set to begin at 3 PM and will include raffles and other prizes.
Representing the boxers will be the Lakes Area Boxing gym – Detroit Lakes, Central MN boxing – Wadena, Barbot Boxing – Fargo, Rogue boxing – Fargo, Toros boxing – Hillsboro ND, Next edge academy – Sioux Falls SD, Eastman Boxing – Bejejeaur Canada, Takedown Boxing Academy – Brainerd, C3 Fight team – Grand Forks, Leech Lake Boxing – Leech Lake, St Cloud Golden Gloves St. Cloud, Golden Eagle Boxing – Brainerd, Nordic Warrior Boxing Academy – Alexandria, Davenport Pena – Davenport IA.
Lakes Area Boxing is a public charity 501C3 nonprofit organization that trains youth and adults. For over 20 years they have been making a positive impact in young lives. The coaching staff at Lakes Area Boxing do not get paid. They do it for the love of boxing and to help the kids. This show is to give the boxers an opportunity to compete, give the fans a great show, and support the gym.
