HERNANDEZ SUFFERS INJURY, APRIL FIGHT OFF

Minnesota State Super Featherweight champion Ramiro Hernandez (16-0, 10 KO’s) will undergo surgery this Friday in an attempt to repair a detached retina. The 32 year old’s bout scheduled for April 16th against Missouri State Super Featherweight champion Fidel Cervantes (9-0-1, 4 KO’s) is off. Whether Hernandez will be able to box again or regain full vision in the injured eye are questions that remain to be answered. Hernandez felt discomfort earlier in the week, at first believing an eye lash or something of that nature was the cause. The severity of the injury was revealed after a visit to his doctor. It is unknown how or when the injury occurred at this time. We wish Hernandez the best and a full recovery.

Mexico’s Jose Zaragoza will step in for Hernandez and face Cervantes in the main event which takes place in Ozark, Missouri.
One-Two Boxing’s Antonio Woods (5-0, 5 KO’s) of Iowa will face Darian Weeks (1-0) in a featured bout on the card. Eric Hinderaker says Weeks is 20-4 in MMA and has never been knocked out. The audience will be limited and will be streamed as part of the 2021 Stronger Men’s Conference.
