HUBBERT, BUNCH GIVE GEORGIA FANS EXCITING FIGHT

Rondale Hubbert (13-17-2, 8 KO’s) lost an entertaining six round decision to Fernando Bunch (11-0, 5 KO’s) on Sunday night at the Columbia County Exhibition Center in Augusta, Georgia.

Hubbert landed nice jabs and hard rights. He also landed the harder shots in total. Bunch won the rounds on the judges cards good movement and a higher volume of punches. Hubbert spent most of the fight going forward and just needed to let his hands go more. It was a good showing from both boxers. With legend Roy Jones Jr. looking on from Bunch’s corner, the two boxers traded until the final bell. Official scores were not announced.
