JIU JITSU: Grappling Industries Back in MN June 1

Grappling Industries returns to Minnesota on Saturday, April 1, 2019. Voted best all-around Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament in Minnesota last year, they look to continue what has made the tournament a competitors (and parents) favorite. Skilled grapplers from across the country and into Canada have made their way to Minnesota for past tournaments. Grappling Industries is not only an event for seasoned competitors, however. It has also been a great tournament for beginners and kids to showcase their jiu-jitsu skills. GI showcased three tournaments in Minnesota last year and this is the second of the year making them one of the most active local tournaments.

The staff and setup have been world class but what consistently sets Grappling Industries Minnesota among the top is the fact that competitors are not just a number. Directors go out of there way to ensure all competitors get multiple matches in a round-robin pool format regardless of how big or small a bracket is. Grappling Industries spring tournament on June 1st takes place at Hopkins North Junior High. Doors open at 7:30 AM with the event set to start at 9 AM.
