“Ko” Kenny Kost Knocks out Virgil in Green Bay!
April 1, 2004 – Kenny Kost (4-0) of White Bear Lake knocked out out Marris Virgil at the Riverside Ballroom in Green Bay, Wisconsin in the sixth round on Thursday night. Kost was knocked down himself in the fourth but sent the veteran Virgil to the canvas once in the fifth and closed the show by knocking him down and out in the sixth.

“He is the hardest puncher I have ever been in the ring with”! Kost told MN Boxing.
“He has knocked out a lot of guys with good records and that is why, because he is dangerous. I just had to stay on my toes and move around him which is pretty much how I fought him in the fight.”
Kost says he is looking to stay busy this year and hopes to have had around 10 fights in by the end of the year if everything goes good.
“This was my first six rounder and it was no problem. I’m finally getting myself into shape!”
Kost will be fighting on the Saint Paul Armory show this coming Friday and also has a fight scheduled on the May 1st show in Hinckley, MN.
Saint Paul, Minnesota’s Nick Farrow lost a unanimous decision to Carlos Molina in a six round middle weight bout in the undercard.
