Marcus Oliveira, Dennis Morris Collide in Milwaukee Main Event Tonight

Wisconsin born cruiserweight Marcus Oliveira (27-5-1, 22 KO’s) battles fellow Wisconsin boxer Dennis Morris (14-2-2, 12 KO’s) tonight in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The two meet for the vacant ABF Cruiserweight title.

Oliveira has boxed five times in Minnesota with the most memorable being a 2008 knock-em-down back and forth slugfest with Phil “The Drill” Williams. Both boxers visited the canvas multiple times as Oliveira outlasted Williams getting the TKO win in round 7 of 8.

If all had gone as planned tonight, Oliveira was set to face MN state cruiserweight champ Al Sands on October 22nd in Hinckley until Sands withdrew for personal reasons days ago. Oliveira was upset at the news that the would be main event fell apart but says he remains focused on victory tonight.
