MARK NELSON RETURNS TO REFEREE ON ESPN TONIGHT

Saint Paul, Minnesota based referee Mark Nelson is back on National television tonight at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Top Rank presents the action which will be shown on ESPN+ before the main portion of the show goes live on ESPN. Nelson will referee a number of undercard bouts on ESPN+ as well as the ESPN co-main event between Rene Tellez Giron and Giovanni Cabrera. When not in the ring refereeing, Nelson told Minnesotaboxing.com that he will be helping work the instant replay monitor in the ESPN truck.

The office of Don King contacted Nelson to arrange travel for their PPV event tonight on three days notice but Nelson had already taken this assignment.
