MARK NELSON TO REFEREE WBO TITLE FIGHT IN CANADA TONIGHT ON ESPN+

Mark Nelson of Saint Paul, MN will referee tonight’s WBO bantamweight title fight between Jason Moloney (26-2, 19 KO’s) of Australia and California’s Saul Sanchez (20-2, 12 KO’s) at the Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada Moloney vs. Sanchez will be shown live on ESPN+. The two main event bouts will be televised on an ESPN.

Nelson refereed Jason’s twin brother Andrew Moloney in 2023’s KO of the year bout. This will be Mark’s 8th time refereeing in Canada (2000, 2008, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2024). Tonight marks his 110th world title assignment as a referee while having judged 10 world title fights.
