Mike Nevitt Wins in Illinois

Mike Nevitt (6-0, 3ko’s) fought last Friday on the undercard of the O’neill Bell and Derrick Harmon bout in Rosemont, Illinois. Nevitt, a former kickboxing champion beat Eric French(10-28-3) by a unanimous decision, winning every round on all three judges cards. Nevitt used a good body attack throughout the bout and controlled much of the action. Nevitt has fought at the Saint Paul Armory twice since switching to boxing, first beating John Jackson by unanimous decision last march and then when he knocked out Milton Daye back in July of this year.
