MIKE RICHMAN ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT AFTER GUTSY BARE KNUCKLE BOUT ON SATURDAY

Mike “The Marine” Richman was stopped in round two earlier tonight against David Mundell in BKFC 47’s middleweight title fight main event. Richman was counted out on a knee and Mundell retained his title.

Mike Richman, 38, later announced that this would be the end to an amazing career which saw him compete in boxing and MMA while thrilling fans with world class skills and heart for over 15 years.

“I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the Champ @redneckmundell to come right back at me like nothing after the knockdown, I wasn’t ready at all and he clipped me like the champ that he is!”

“With that being said, that will be the last fight of my prize fighting career. I’m not the same fighter anymore, Father Time and damage caught up to me! I only wanted to be champion or one of the best, and with my Age and the Miles I put on… I’m not the same fighter anymore. Thanks to all the elite fighters that beat me to help make me better! shout out to Lorenzo and Mundell! I wish you all the best in your future careers!”
