Chico Camus, mma

Chico Camus lands a left hand during one of his three recent wins in Prior Lake, MN.

Camus is a highly skilled mixed martial artist that has entertained Minnesota fans with recent victories over Matt Brown, Czar Sklavos, and Darrick Minner, in his last three bouts. The UFC, WEC, and LFA veteran Camas believes that his 11 years of MMA experience and well rounded style will be too much for Whitney.

“I’m looking to go in there and fight a top opponent and make a name for myself again. What excited me about the match up is the potential to get myself back up to where I feel I belong.  I feel like I should never have been let go from the UFC.  I fight with top guys, and I hang with top guys.  I fought the best in the world. My motivation for this is always my family and to support them with a big paycheck, and hopefully get back into the big leagues.”

Andrew Whitney is originally from Kansas City, Missouri and now resides in South Florida where he trains

at American Top Team. The 33 year old Whitney has had big success fighting for Titan FC and like Camas, plans to use a win to help propel him to the top.

” I am a Midwest boy, coming to take on one of you’re boys. My thoughts on Chico, I think he’s a well skilled opponent. I know he’s going to bring the fight. I know he has a lot of heart, but that’s one thing I pride myself on is having a lot of heart. So I’m looking for a nice, tough match. I’m looking to get my hand raised first, second, or third round. It doesn’t matter. But I’m looking for the finish. I’m coming in there, biting down on my mouth piece, and getting after it. So, everybody in Minnesota, I hope you guys like my fighting style. Thank you guys for having me. See you guys soon.”
