1-2) of Albert Lea, MN each have fights tonight at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii. Destiny MMA will be promoting the show.
Mortensen was originally set to face former Destiny MMA amateur champion Makana Fronda (1-1) but Fronda dropped out two weeks ago. Mortensen will now face Ben Santiago (1-5) of Waianae, Hawaii.

“I just plan on going out there and doing my thing” said Mortensen. I’m not getting in the cage with him, he’s getting in there with me. As long as I fight like I know I can, I’ll get a “W”. Winning three titles in three weight classes as an amateur was great but now I’m ready to start chasing a championship as a pro.”

bout. Minnesota fans last saw Yost in the cage at LFA 19 in 2017. Yost says that he is excited to test his skills against the experienced Hawaiian.
