11.14.18 – UPDATE #4: Sean Stebbins (10-2) lost by submission in round 2 to Alibi Temirtassov (Kazakhstan) on Wednesday morning.

“Took my first loss by submission today”, said Stebbins. “I woke up to the ref standing over me and I knew it was over. Those Kazakhstan guys are the real deal. Congratulations to my opponent Alibi and thank you to everyone back home who has supported me. On to the next.”

11.13.18 – UPDATE #3: Sean Stebbins (10-1) defeated Irfan Ahmed of Pakistan by unanimous decision early this morning in his opening bout in Bahrain. Stay tuned for day 3 bracket info.

UPDATE #2: Sean Stebbins is scheduled to fight on Tuesday morning in cage number 4. The approximate time is still the same at 11 AM in Bahrain, 2 AM Central time. His opponent will be Irfan Ahmed from Pakistan.

UPDATE #1: Minnesota amateur champion Sean Stebbins received a bye in today’s first round at the IMMAF world MMA amateur championships in Bahrain (read our earlier story HERE for more info). Stebbins made weight and will compete on Tuesday morning at approximately 11 AM (2 AM Central time). You can watch live or on replay at IMMAF.tv. His first opponent is scheduled to be the flyweight representative of Pakistan in his first match.
