MMA: UFC Returns To Minnesota on June 29
The Ultimate Fighting Championships returns to Minneapolis on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at the Target Center. Some of MMA’s best athletes will compete inside the Octagon. The UFC last came to Minnesota in 2012 and this time, Anthony Rocco Martin, Maurice Greene, and Dan Moret will be featured on the show.
Headlining UFC Fight Night Minneapolis is a heavyweight contenders showdown between Francis Ngannou and Junior dos Santos. The undercard along with the main show will be televised on ESPN.
Tony Martin (16-4) of Start BJJ in Saint Cloud, MN will battle veteran Demian Maia (16-4) in a featured main card showdown which begins at 8 PM.
Dan Moret (13-5) of Mankato, MN meets Jared Gordon (14-3) in a preliminary lightweight bout. The prelims kick off at 5 PM also on ESPN. Saint Cloud heavyweight Maurice Green (7-2) will be featured in the opening fight against Júnior Albini (14-5).
