VIDEO: BONSANTE VS. STRICKLAND FULL CARD 3/6/03 – FRIDLEY, MN

The show was promoted by John Hoffman and the Anoka Coon Rapids Boxing Gym (ACR) and featured the following fights some of Minnesota’s more influential fighters including Chris Holt, Marty Lindquist, JJ Corn, Anthony Bonsante and more.
Time Warner Cable provided the broadcast. Middleweight Anthony “The Bullet” Bonsante was coming off his title fight win over Tony Ayala Jr. and would face Peter Manredo after this fight. Bonsante fought Guinnes Book of World Record setter (most losses) Reggie Strickland. Bonsante dropped Strickland twice in the final round of the fight on his way to a decision win. Bonsante’s kids brought his IBA Middleweight belt to the ring prior to the fight.
JJ Corn had just battled Matt Vanda for the Minnesota State Jr. Middleweight title and entertained the crowd with good combinations and dance moves all in the name of “Native Pride Nation Wide” as he would say afterward.
