MUAY THAI: TBA CLASSIC MUAY THAI WORLD EXPO UNDERWAY

North America’s largest amateur Muay Thai tournament is underway in Des Moines, Iowa as the annual TBA Classic – Muay Thai World Expo kicks off with Minnesota teams being well represented. Competitors from Minnesota gyms such as The Cellar, The Academy, Next Level Combat, Spartan Martial Arts and more will be in action. The tournament runs from Thursday, June 22 to Sunday the 25th.
The TBA Classic/Muay Thai World Expo started in 2007 (formerly known as the Muay Thai Classic or MTC) and has grown to be the largest amateur Muay Thai tournament in North America drawing in over 500 fighters for the past several years. Focusing on Muay Thai, not “kickboxing”, the MTWE uses certified, trained Muay Thai officials that strive to use Muay Thai scoring.
