MUAY THAI: TROY JONES FACES ABREU TONIGHT ON UFC FIGHT PASS
World rated muay thai/kickboxer Troy “Trouble” Jones Jr. weighed in last night in New York and will compete tonight against Ariel Abreu. The two powerful strikers will go toe-to-toe in the night’s co-main event which can be seen live on UFC Fight Pass.
Friday Night Fights will present the Muay Thai action at the Broad Street Ballroom in New York. Abreu is a strong and sometimes wild fighter that swings for the fences with nearly every punch and kick he throws. Jones Jr., of Brooklyn Park, MN is just as strong but also much faster and accurate than his explosive opponent.
Jones Jr. typically makes weight with ease and said that this weight cut might have been his easiest to date.
The action begins at 9pm central time and the Jones vs. Abreu bout will take place near the end of the UFC.com broadcast.
