ON TO THE NEXT ONE FOR RONDALE HUBBERT TOMORROW NIGHT
Minnesota’s latest road warrior Rondale “Give Em Hell” Hubbert (14-20-3, 8 KO’s) of Minneapolis, MN lost another questionable decision to a featured hometown fighter in Bill Hutchinson (20-2-4, 9 KO’s) on January 29, 2022 at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Hubbert has now landed in Orlando, Florida where he weighs-in tonight for a bout against undefeated 21 year old hometown prospect Sean Mason (6-0). The bout will be part of the non-televised undercard before ShoBox kicks off Friday night’s action. Mason is returning after a stoppage win over Ubaldo Lara in October of 2021. Hubbert is not deterred by the recent skid and told Minnesotaboxing.com that he is ready to test another prospect.
“Man, same sh-t different day. It (Hutchinson fight) was a bad decision. I out worked him, used my jab to control the fight and landed jabs and right hands at will. I caught him with so many clean check left hooks. He landed a couple good rights, maybe three but I had me winning along with a lot of other people. He got a unanimous 58-56 on all cards
“I love fighting and I love the life but that part sucks (unreasonable decisions). I am ready for another prospect to beat on and make look average.” said Hubbert.
The main event pits undefeated lightweight prospect Jamaine Ortiz (14-0-1, 8 KO’s) against Nahir Albright (14-1, 7 KOs) in a ten round bout. Stay tuned for Shobox undercard stream info.
