PATRAW, ADYAKA, GOODMAN AND MORE WEIGH-IN TONIGHT

The mega weekend of fights put on by Driller Promotions at the Cabooze in Minneapolis is upon us. Friday night features professional boxing and kickboxing. Saturday’s action includes amateur boxing and MMA. The first bout for each night of fights will begin at 5:15PM.
Saint Paul, Minnesota’s “Bad” Brad Patraw (10-8, 5 KO’s) will face off at tonight’s weigh-in with Philip Adyaka (5-7, 3 KO’s). The eight round showdown is a featured bout in tomorrow’s boxing portion of the show and the two will battle for the vacant Minnesota state featherweight title.
Fan favorite heavyweight Van Goodman (4-6-2, 4 KO’s) returns to his home city of Minneapolis taking on debuting Danyelle Williams in a four round bout. Word is that this was one of the best camps in Goodman’s career and he says that fans can expect an action filled fight.
Former Minnesota Viking Ray Edwards (10-0-1, 6 KO’s) of Cincinnati, Ohio will box in Minnesota for the first time since 2014. Edwards will box Akron, Ohio’s Steven Tyner (3-14-3, 2 KO’s).
Cleveland, Ohio’s Ramiro Hernandez (6-0, 6 KO’s) will meet Moorhead, Minnesota’s Jose Homar Rios (1-2, 1 KO’s) in  super featherweight bout. Vince Downwind (0-1) of Rice Lake, Wisconsin takes on James Roe (1-6, 1 KO) of Elk River, Wisconsin in a four round heavyweight bout.
