Luke Santamaria (12-2-1, 7 KO’s) of Garden Grove, California won a unanimous decision over Devon Alexander (27-7-1, 14 KO’s) of Saint Louis, Missouri in a 10 round super welterweight bout. Final scores read 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93. Alexander fought for the first time in two years and used his jab early. Santamaria was busier but not by much and the fight was slow going early. Santamaria fought an all around decent fight, circling, picking his shots and was the busier fighter thoughout.

Bout #3: Ryan Karl (19-3, 13 KO’s) of Milano, Texas won a unanimous decision over Edgar Ramirez (18-18-2, 14 KO’s) in an 8 round super lightweight bout. Both fighters traded to start a good action packed fight. Ramirez rocked Karl hard with a counter punch to the head. Shortly after however, Ramirez was hit low and took about five minutes to recover. Both boxers took turns trading once the action resumed. Karl took advantage of Ramirez getting winded and sloppy and pushed the pace. Karl began to land to the head and body. Ramirez shook Karl again in the final round but Karl took over again by backing Ramirez up with shots. Final scores read 79-71 twice and 82-70.

Bout #2: Joahnys Argilagos (8-0, 4 KO’s) of Camaguey, Cuba stopped Luís Javier Valdes (7-10-2, 2 KO’s) with a body shot KO at :29 into the first round. Argilagos landed a right to the the head and followed up with a body shot to the right side of Valdes who could not beat the count.

Bout #1: Breeon Carothers of Albany, NY (1-0, 1 KO) stopped Phillip Percy (0-10) of Sacramento, California at 1:05 of the second round in a lightweight bout. Carothers walked over Percy, knocking him down in round one with a counter right hand to the head. A flurry of punches in round two forced the TKO stoppage by the referee.
