RESULTS FROM COD “SOUTHSIDE BACK IN THE DAY” AMATEUR BOXING SHOW

Circle of Discipline, Inc. hosted “Southside Back in the Day” amateur boxing as part of South Minneapolis’ annual community on Saturday afternoon. The show took place at Phelps Park located at 701 E 39th St. Minneapolis, MN with participating Minnesota gyms including host COD, Saint Cloud Golden Gloves, Lucey Laney, and Lyke’s Boxing, Peek A Boo Boxing out of Wisconsin, Power Boxing of Canada, and Next Edge of South Dakota made the trip as well.

1. Yuam Balanial, 15, of Power Boxing won a 5-0 decision vs. Jordan Montour, 15, of Saint Cloud Golden Gloves
2. Fernando Morales, 16, of Next Edge won a 5-0 decision against Benjamin Xiong, 17, of Lyke’s Boxing
3. James Nepp, 16, of Next Edge won by RSC 3 against Avion Logan, 17, of Lucey Laney
4. Demarcus Murphy, 13, of COD lost by 5-0 decision to William Chaput, 14, of Power Boxing
5. Blessing Taniah, 19, of Next Edge won a 5-0 decision against Charles Meier, 29, of Lyke’s Boxing
6. Orlanda Callala, 30, of Power Boxing won by 4-1 decision against Jessica Maltez, 29, of Peek A Boo Boxing
7. Justin Penner, 26, of Power Boxing lost by 5-0 decision to Christian Barrientos-Love, 19, of Next Edge
8. Ethan Ruttle, 20, of Power Boxing lost by 4-1 decision to Edgar Olivo, 19, of Lyke’s Boxing
9. Suhaib Mohammud, 16, of COD won by RSC 2 against Bronson Nabess, 16, of Power Boxing
10. Daniel Esparza, 25, of Next Edge lost by 5-0 decision to Clinton Warren, 21, of Lucey Laney
11. Vladimir Alvarez, 18, of Power Boxing vs Jeroson Garduward, 20, of Lucy Laney was scratched and did not take place.
12. Mikey Gomez, 18, of COD lost by 5-0 decision to Sammy Saucedo, 22, of Lyke’s Boxing
