RESULTS FROM ELEMENT BOXING GYM IN SAINT PAUL

Bout 1: DeShawn Kennedy unanimous decision 40-36 x3 over EJ Rowan. Kennedy boxed well to the head and body with good movement. Rowan showed toughness and competitiveness throughout.

Bout 2: Chris porter dropped and stopped Tyler Nystrom right before the conclusion of round two. Very good fight to that point. Nystrom was counted out by referee Bobby brunette who waived the fight off as he made it to his feet.

Bout 3: Andree Akingsformula Reid stopped Christopher Morrow with a straight left to the body at 1:39 of the first round.

Bout 4: Jonathan Hampton outworked Danny Huffman over 6 rounds, winning by split decision. Scores read 58-56, 58-56 twice for Hampton and 58-56 for Huffman.

Bout 5: Leo Medel looked fantastic in sweeping the cards over always tough and durable Gilbert Venegas. Medel saved his best for last, hammering home his right to the head of Venegas while mixing in body shots. Venegas never stopped coming forward.

Bout 6: Cameron Krael won the mid america jr middle weight title with a sixth round TKO victory over Sona Akale. Akale was up on the cards through three with slick quick punches from all angles in the inside but Krael sensed Akale tiring in the fourth and poured it on in the final rounds of the bout. A hard uppercut to the head by Krael started the end and two body shots sent Akale to the ropes. A barrage of unanswered punches had a close looking Mark Nelson jump in to stop the fight at 2:45 of round six.
