Cayman Audie won a unanimous decision over Anthony Garrett, dropping him multiple times throughout. Audie predicted beforehand that he’d be able to get inside the reach if his taller opponent and he had huge success. It was the swing bout and went unaired. Scores read 39-32 on all cards
Antonio Woods (now 11-0, 9 KO’s) stopped Darryl Jones at 2:36 of the first round. A right to the head hurt Jones before a head combo forced Mark Nelson to stop the bout.
Corey Thompson was stopped in round one by Dante Benjamin. Benjamin was credited with three knockdowns as he jumped right on the Minnesotan. Thompson fired back with hard jabs and counters but was taking too many shots and the referee stopped the bout at 2:24 of round one.
Dennys Reyes was stopped in round two by Antonio Mireles. Reyes did well getting inside the 9 inch height advantage and landed rights in round one to swell the eye of Mireles. However, the height, reach and power were too much to overcome. Mireles dropped Reyes twice in round two prompting referee Tyrone Roberts to stop the bout at 2:19 of round two.
Colton Warner won a four round unanimous decision over Jimmy Barnes in the battle for Pine City bragging rights. Warner’s one two down the pipe couldn’t miss all fight and Barnes was able to land counter single shots although not with the frequency of Warner. Warner took control of the fight in rounds three and four and Barnes never quit coming forward and seeking a big shot. Both boxers took the others big punches well. Final scores read 40-36 all in favor of Warner.
