Hser Htoo of MN vs. Maximiliano Baez of Pennsylvania in a 112 pound elite male bout in ring #1, bout #7.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2023
Jeroson Garduard of MN lost a split decision to Eric Valencia of Bethany, OK in a 132 pound elite male bout. This was a quarterfinal bout and the third bout for Garduard of the tournament. He competes in the NOON session in ring #2, bout #10.
Moo Thaw of MN lost a unanimous decision to Kenario Davidson of Montgomery, AL in a 119 pound elite male bout in the NOON session in Ring #2, bout #13.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2023
Jeroson Garduard of MN defeated Steve Johnson of El Sobrante, California in a 132 pound elite male bout in ring 2, bout #4. This was a second round bout for Garduward, winning by 29-28 on all 5 judges score cards.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2023
Jeroson Garduard of MN defeated Jorge Guebara of Grand Prairie, Texas by decision in a 132 pound elite male bout in Bout #17, Ring 2 in the Noon session.
MINNESOTAN’S REPRESENTING AT LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER
Jeroson Garduward of Cottage Grove, MN is representing the Lucy Laney Boxing Academy with coach Morgan McDonald. Garduward will compete in the stacked elite male 132 pound division. There are 24 athletes listed on USA Boxing’s competition page. Garduward begins competition on Monday.
Hser Htoo of Saint Paul and representing Backyard Boxing is seeded in the 112 pound Elite Male division. Htoo holds two National competition wins and boxes on Friday.
Moo Thaw is also boxing out of the Backyard Boxing Gym run by coach Jose Becerra. Thaw begins competition this Thursday in the elite male 119 pound weight class.
