SATURDAY FIGHT CARD IN SAINT PAUL POSTPONED
The pro boxing card scheduled to take place tomorrow night at Aldrich Arena in Saint Paul, MN has been postponed to Friday, May 5th, 2017. Promoter Seconds Out released the following statement regarding the cancellation last Tuesday.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances this weekends event at Aldrich Arena will be postponed to Friday May 05. The new venue will be Blaine Sports Center. All tickets purchased for this weekends event will be honored at the May 05 event. Any refunds will be issued over the next few days. Thanks for your support!”
Minnesota middleweight champion “Golden” Caleb Truax was set to headline the fight card and will now be the main event on the May 5th show in Blaine. Oklahoma’s Carson Jones along with Minnesotan’s Marty Lindquist, Uriel Lara, Jimmy Gomez, Nate Richardson, Oscar Soto, and Anthony Yost are the names given to be competing on the 5th as well.
Milwaukee, Wisconsin middleweight prospect Luis Arias (16-0, 8 KO’s) and Lynchburg, Virginia slugger Scott Sigmon (29-10-1, 16 KO’s) were going to battle in the co-feature but now the two will meet tomorrow night (March 31st) in Homestead, PA at the Carnegie Music Hall. Arias’ USBA middleweight title will still be on the line.
