UNDEFEATED JOE JAMES RETURNS THIS SATURDAY AGAINST UNBEATEN SELASSIE BEY

Undefeated Joe “The Sniper” James (8-0, 5 KO’s) of Saint Cloud, Minnesota returns this Saturday in a six round welterweight bout in Louisville, Kentucky. James, 31, will travel to the hometown of undefeated boxer Selassie Bey (5-0, 5 KO’s) of Louisville, Kentucky in a match scheduled for six rounds. Both boxers weighed-in at 147 pounds. March of 2020 was the last time James boxed, stopping Mike Fowler in the second round at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN.

Nick Bareis of Superstars of Boxing presents the action on Saturday night. Joe James fans will be having a live watch party at the Valley Inn in Eden Valley, MN on Saturday night. James vs. Bey will also be shown live on https://livesportscaster.com.

James has been in Boston, Massachusetts training at the Reyes Boxing gym after signing with promoter Michael Reyes. Reyes told MinnesotaBoxing.com that James is looking sharp while heading into the biggest fight of his career.

He did some sparring with one of our top guys Rodrigo Coria (current WBO Latino Champion) and we decided that we were a good fit for each other. Joe has been out here in Boston in camp for the last four weeks. What you guys in Minnesota can expect is a sharp, strong Joe James. Using his jab and using his distance as he takes on Selassie Bey who we believe is right there as a prospect as well.”
