WEEKEND RESULTS: CARAWAY, VUE VICTORIOUS
Minnesota Jr. welterweight Delorian Caraway (6-0, 5 KO’s) and Wisconsin’s (MN rated) Duarn Vue (9-0-2, 3 KO’s) both picked up wins last Saturday night.
Delorian Caraway stopped Deartrie Tucker by TKO in round number three. Below is a fight summary written by B&B Boxing Promotions.
DeLorien Caraway, Minneapolis, MN, TKO 3 over Deartrie Tucker, Ft Smith, AK. Caraway landed a beautiful counter check hook that dropped Tucker in the first. Tucker rose from the canvas and a real fight broke out. With Crawford shouting from ringside, Caraway would find his rhythm and his vast skill set would be too much for the game Tucker. Another crisp, counter left-hook would floor Tucker, whom would beat the count but appeared to still show plenty of effects from Caraway’s well timed punch. Caraway wins his B and B debut and improves to 6-0 (5) while Tucker drops to 2-5 (2).
Duarn “The Quiet Storm” Vue won the vacant WBF super featherweight title with a 12 round unanimous decision over Jorge Luis Munguia (12-5, 4 KO’s). Score read 120-107, 120-106, 119-108 in favore of Vue.
