Cuban born David Morrell Jr. (9-0, 8 KO’s) of Minneapolis, Mn scaled in at 167.5 pounds this afternoon for Saturday nights main event bout in downtown Minneapolis. Morrell Jr. defends his WBA regular super middleweight title against Sena Agbeko (28-2, 22 KO’s) of Ghana in a 12 round main event of Showtime Championship Boxing’s telecast live from the Minneapolis Armory. Agbeko weighed in at 167 pounds at the Foshay this afternoon.
Cruse Stewart (8-2, 6 KOs), Maple Grove, Minnesota weighed 160 pounds this afternoon to face Kyrone Davis (17-3-1, 6 KOs) of Wilmington, Delaware who was 161.4 pounds. The two battle tomorrow night in an 8 round super middleweight bout.
Marlin “So Icey” Sims (8-2) of Minneapolis, MN (currently residing in Florida) weighed in this afternoon at 141.6 pounds. Charles “LoLo” Harris Jr. (7-1) of Rialto, California weighed in almost identical at 141.8 pounds for there six round lightweight bout tomorrow night.
