The Minnesota state cruiserweight title fight between champion Phil “The Drill” Williams and Mengistu “The Dynamic Warrior” Zarzar was first set to take place on November 26th but Seconds Out Promotions released a statement saying that unforeseen circumstances had forced the show to be rescheduled for December 17th. But it turned out that the Minnesota State Combative Sports Commission will be short staffed on the 17th due to MMA shows going on that same night. So now, the anticipated meeting between Williams and Zarzar will take place on January 7th, 2017 at the Hyatt in downtown Minneapolis. Minnesota state middleweight champion “Golden” Caleb Truax has been added to the show as he boxes an opponent to be named. More on the rest of the card to come.
