WOODS SEEKS 7TH WIN WITH RODRIGUEZ IN CORNER

Antonio Woods, right and Corey Rodriguez, left after a training session at the Fire House Gym in Columbia Heights.

26 year old Cedar Rapids, Iowa native Antonio “Super Bad” Woods (6-0, 5 KO’s) is back home seeking his seventh victory tomorrow night at the River Center in Davenport, Iowa. Woods will face Missouri’s David Mason (3-6) in a middleweight bout scheduled for five rounds.

Woods relocated to Minnesota about a month ago to join forces with former MN state super welterweight champion Corey Rodriguez who has taken over as head trainer. Woods is no stranger to Minnesota as he is represented by local managerial company One-Two Boxing and has sparred here often. Antonio has played an important role as former world champion Caleb Truaxs’ sparring partner recently and is excited for the journey ahead.

Woods weighed in last night successfully and you can catch him live streamed in action tonight for a fee of $25 HERE. To listen to Woods interviewed by Champions Pride, Steve VanDeWalle CLICK HERE.
